X-WR-CALDESC:December marks the 118th annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count. 
 Groups are asked to census both the species and numbers of birds on their 
 assigned trails or roads in and around Bellevue. Last year the light was g
 ray and made seeing the birds difficult\, so our listening and birding by 
 ear was essential. Our group was excited to hear and then spot an elusive 
 Pileated Woodpecker. This year it’s your chance to help us complete the mi
 ssion. Our group will meet at Fontenelle Forest in Bellevue at 9 a.m.\n\nP
 lease note that if there is a cancelation due to weather\, it will be post
 ed on the website and on Facebook.\n\nFor those of you new to Audubon\, th
 is group is composed of youth ranging in age from 8 to 19. Younger youth m
 ust be accompanied by an adult. There is no formality or annual time requi
 rement to enjoy this group experience. Drop in\, come give it a try. It’s 
 a fun bonding experience for you and your favorite youth.
